CHRISTMAS IN... JULY?!?!

Hello stampers! For some reason right around the fourth of July I start seeing and hearing about Christmas! Why so early? I'm just getting excited about summer! I guess I will never get it. Oh well, might as well make the most of it. Here is a head start on my Christmas cards for this year.

STAMPIN' OWL-WAYS, FABRIC OPTIONAL

Hello stampers! Stampin' Up! is not just about stamping... I made this owl out of felt from a local craft store. However, the "designer" fabric is from Stampin' Up! I love having this option. Stampin' Up! style is my favorite and having the fabric option opens up a whole new realm of possibilities and creativity.

DINNER AND A SHOW

Hello stampers! Yesterday was father's day... On mother's day "dad" was out of town having fun and "mom" was home cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids... So for father's day "dad" decided he wanted to make dinner! I wasn't going to complain, but felt like I should help somehow. So "dad" made the main dish, White Chicken Chile, and mom made the side/appetizers. I chose to make home made hummus with pita bread, and the yummy stuff in my picture, Mango Salsa! Everything was so good! After dinner we created our own "show" with the puppet card you see above. What a perfect way to end a perfect day!

SAY HELLO TO GOODBYE

Hello stampers! It is that time of year again... when we say goodbye to the old and hello to the new Stampin' Up! catalog. Everytime this happens I find myself reminiscing with some of my old favorites from the past. One of my favorites was a set called Living Large. I just had to drag it out and play a bit. TABLE TALK

Hello stampers! I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before, but... My daughter's are very creative. (They must take after their mom ;-) They love creating and sometimes I even have to say WOW! to the things they come up with. So, the other day my girls and I were wandering around Big Lots and came across this table! It was on clearance for $50.00! Since they like to stamp too, we took it home with us. They use to have a fold up table, but always ran out of room for their creations. Now they have plenty of room! This table is a little sturdier too ;-) I will leave you with one of their "inspiration creations"... this one is made out of Play-Doh!
